Using Printing Basics

New employees with limited experience in printing will gain productivity quickly by using Printing Basics.

Counter people and CSR's will be able to discuss printing jobs and processes more professionally.

Keep Printing Basics on a computer on the counter as a reference tool when talking with customers.

Sales reps can use it as support at the customer's site if a copy is kept on their laptop.

Production employees who want to move into sales, management or CSR positions can use Printing Basics as part of their training program.

There are no tests or completion certificates. Employees research topics that they need for everyday production and customer contact.

* Macs require OS 10.5 or better.

Printing Basics loads into your own website browser but does not require you to go online so it can be used virtually anywhere, on the PC or the Mac*.

It covers a wide range of topics that will help your customers to improve their printing output while also helping your staff to understand the details of getting a graphic idea to become a printed product.

Printing Basics becomes an excellent sales tool when installed in a computer that can be used at the counter or on a laptop used at the client's office.

This program is less formal and less technical than PrintShop 101. It provides an understanding of digital printing, offset printing and the digital methods of creating pre-press files.

Use it for your staff and put it out on loan to key customers. That makes you more than just their printer. It makes you their consultant, a powerful relationship that brings extended loyalty.

If you are servicing your customers with print or copy jobs, it is important to have a full understanding of the techniques used for best results.

Knowledgeable employees are your single best asset toward business success!

Even with basic jobs like business cards or letterheads, design or production questions arise. Your contact person should be able to present alternative ways to produce the desired results.

Printing Basics will provide that knowledge. A thorough knowledge of printing will allow each staff member to make a more professional presentation.
